Treating Candy Cane

Well Mrs. Wages and I waged war on the majano, and all was going well. I was having so much fun annihilating the pests that I got sloppy and a little bit of paste dripped into an open candy cane polyp which closed up on it and later gave up the ghost. I tried getting it all off to no avail. Now that I have killed the majano and a polyp, I am worried about the rest of the colony as the polyp is wasting away. Do I need to clip off that part or just leave it?

I would clip off the dying polyp.Did you turn off your phs before you used mrs wages .

No. I was trying to kill a majano that was too small to take the bait so it fell into the coral. It may have happened with the Phs off to tell you the truth. The problem was stupidity. I have a wealth of it at times.

I too used Mrs. Wages to get rid of some aptasia. I knocked out 3 pretty big ones 3 or 4 days ago. So far the aptasia are still gone and no ill effects on any corals. I did turn off my closed loop for about 15 minutes while administering the Mrs. Wages and then just before turning the CL back on I siphoned out the "extra" Mrs. Wages.

Do you have a frag tool that can be used in tank? It is glued to a large rock.
