Treating fin fungus on baby Hippo

Baby Hippo has cottony patch on one pectoral fin joint and on one spine of dorsal. Swims normally and eats well. Leave alone or treat. If treat is best answer, with what? Lots of soft corals doing well. Appreciate advice.

Could be lymphocystis based on description. Can you post a picture?

He could be right !
Lymphocysts are granular to the touch , fin rot would almost glide and loose the white colouring if you ran your finger across it ( like whipped cream or cream cheese)
