Hello,
Last night I purchased an blue hippo tang and 2 cleaner shrimp. They are in a make shift QT that still has remnants of my reef in there, that includes an anemone, some zoos and some xenia.
Today I noticed one spot of ich on the tang and I want to start treatment now. I know I can't treat with copper as its poisonous to inverts.
I would like to try garlic first but I'm not sure exactly how to go about it. Do I simply buy a clove of garlic, chop it up and let it soak with some seaweed, then add that to the tank?
I guess trying hypo will wreak havoc on the other inhabitants of my makeshift QT.
TIA for any advice.
