Treating ick with live rock

What are effective treatments to treat ick in a fish only tank that has live rock. I may someday ( in the next year or so ) switch to Fish/Reef tank.

Depends on the treatment you use. Hypo would just caused a massive die off, which copper gets absorbed into the rocks and sand.
