treating internal parasites

It looks like my clown trigger has internal worms. The poop is white and stringy and it has lost some of its appetite. What medication would work best to treat internal worms? I don't have a qt setup at the moment so would need something that I can treat the food with. I do have prazipro but it says to not use that to medicate food. I am in the process of going to a fowlr setup but still have a few corals left to get rid off so can't treat the tank with anything that isn't safe for corals yet.

Prazipro and it's reef safe. In am teasing my display right now with a purple tang that has stringy poop

I did 3 rounds of prazi already. Either it didn't work or I didn't do it right.

Would seachem metro combined with focus work? If not, anything else?

Try API General Cure - it's a combination of Prazi & Metro. The latter being useful if you are dealing with intestinal parasites.

Can I use that in the foods that I feed the fish or does it have be used for the entire tank as a treatment for it to work? And if Metro works better for internal parasites, wouldn't seachem metro combined with focus be a good option too since they can be mixed in the food and go directly into the fish?

Oh, I missed the part about using this stuff in a reef tank. I don't think I would use metro with corals. Even the residue from soaking it in fish food.
