treating with copper

i personally dont use copper at all! i have never had any luck with it and i would prefer to not take the fish from the display and stress it more to try and treat it

I tried that as well for one whole week and it didn't go away, so i took my few fish and put them in a QT. They have been in there for another week in hypo with a temp of 82 degrees, Im in a pickle between wanting to treat them with copper and to not treat them. I looked at them today and they had no signs of ich so i did a water change and within a hour they all had white spots on them again...
So im not sure what to do at this point. I just purchased Garlic Guard and will see how they do since garlic i hear is good to boost their immune system.
