Treating with Hypo and adding new fish?

Ive got a FLR tank that I am doing a hypo treament on.I was wanting to get soem new fish.I thought it wouldnt be a bad time to get them because i was doing a hypo treatment i just started it today.Would this be a problem,I mean with acclimation.I just thought id do a drip to get them use to the salinity.

I wouldn't subject healthy fish to hypo. I would wait to buy the new fish until your tank is back to normal salinity. This is a great time to practice patience.

Fish need to be acclimated to the lower salinity levels very slowly so I wouldn't add any new fish to the main tank. Putting one in a QT should be ok since they really should be quarantined at least 30 days and you could add him to the DT after you are finished with the hypo.
