This year for Trick or Treat I was thinking about giving out maroon striped gold clownfish. The look on the parent's face would be priceless. The only reason I hesitate to do this is because I dont want to give fish to people who won't care for them. But then the opposite side of the argument is that I have dumped probably thousands of clownfish down the drain during breeding mishaps. What do you think?

:thumbdown You need to find a local reef club that you could perhaps offer up your clowns.

I have over 1000 of them now. I have donated to reef clubs, and local fish stores. They wont take more than 15 monthly. At that rate it will take 66 months, hehe. I have gone to 2 reef clubs in my area which is not easy since I live in the middle of acres of corn fields, hehe. Anyways, both times I brought 50 fish to a reef club and only 5 were taken home. Every 10 days my clowns breed which yeilds about 300 more. I increased my yield by over 60% by feeding the baby clowns Nitokra lacustris copepods instead of brine shrimp thanks to Dr. Adelaide Rhodes , the copepod queen. Thats what got me into all this mess, hehe.

WOW. if you are getting that many fish, you should contact the folks at Sustainable Aquatics or some other distributors. they may be wanting to buy they from you or at least give you a way to offload them to support hobbyists and the entier fish system.

There is a frag swap in Minnesota for TCMAS, i am sure you could ship a few to be part of our raffle on november 13th. Might be able to help coordinate.
