Tricolor Valida help!

Bought this frag about a month ago. It has been brown since I brought it home. Tips are turning purple with white on the very ends. Does this mean it's only partially healthy or is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

Browning on tricolor valida is usually indicative of a combination of high inorganic nutrients (NO3 and PO4) and lower light levels. Hit it with more par and clean up the water a touch and it'll develop the pastel base rather than dark brown

They can also take a while to adjust. Since it still has purple in it at all, this is a good sign.

If you post your parameters and light, you might be able to get an idea of what is up.

My water par is all good. Calcium is slightly low at 420, but all others a great. Not sure if it's the light I'm running or just needs time to adjust.

Those are a little low on the par side. Water being "good" doesn't say much though. It's not so much a good or bad. But what are the numbers. 420 calcium is perfectly fine. Right there in the median range you want it. Not low

The tips look good to me. I think it is likely a sign that things are moving in the right direction. I wouldn't go too crazy trying to change things as that may do more harm than good.
