Tried another. Not working

I just bought another clown for my existing clown but I dont think they are working and really, I dont like this one as much as my old one. The new one is getting chased around the tank so I QTed it.

Here are some pics and hopefully you can ID them so I can get the correct pair. Camera doesnt seem to shutter very quickly so their is alot of motion in the pics. Srry.

No real outline, just a drab orange with white stripes and no black outline except on lower fins.
*New Clown*

Nice deep orange color with solid black outline around body and white stripes.
*Old Clown*

They have a different face structure too. The old one has a rounded face and the new one has more of a defined face.

Any help would be great. thanks

I returned the new clown and bought a twin spot goby. My old clown kept nipping and chasing the new clown thats why I needed to trade. Any ideas cuz I still want another.

THEY ARE WORKING OUT WHOS THE FEMALE AND WHOS THE MALE. NIPPING AND FIGHTING SHOULD BE EXPECTED AT FIRST. crap. sorry about the caps. wasent looking while i typed.

anyways. it shouldent last too long a few days. male should do a weird twitching letting the more dominate fish know hes submitting.

how long has your loner been by itself? try tyo get a smaller clown next time.

Lol..I love it Tourkid. I do that all the time. Dont you think it is ironic that we would rather write three sentences explaining the mistake than just erase and rewrite only two lol...sorry I couldnt help it.

Well I'd also go for a smaller one, and wait till you see one you like. Never settle because you think you need one. Sometimes it just takes time for them to get along.

My old clown is an O. then??? Im gonna keep searching around till I find one I like anyway. Thanks for the advice and Ill wait till they start rippin fins to freak out and return em.

well... ripped fins... yes... but even more so.. dont pull the new clown out unless you really really feel like it'll die without intervention
