Tried Roger's food 1st time

I bought Rogers Complete Blend Plus food for the first time yesterday. looks like a quality product. My only issue is that I put it in a cup to melt it so when I feed some will get to the gobies on the bottom. Unfortunately it stays together so well the I finally resorted to cutting it into smaller pieces. Now I see why he sells the clip. unfortunately that doesn't work for my bottom feeders. Those of you using it do you just feed another food for the fish on the bottom?

This is how I feed in general. I started this with Roggers food and now I go the same with my own homemade blend I adapted from Roggers recipes. I thaw a brick of food in a small Tupperware I bought specifically for this. I then add s few cubes of mysis, bloodworms, brine, and Reef Roids. I let it all thaw and mix it up and smash the food with the back of a spoon to break it up. This leaves me with enough "slop" to feed the tank for a few days. I leave the Tupperware with s small spoon in the fridge.

Here is the custom Rovi Slop:D

Fish LOVE it and there's something in there for everyone.

Thanks for your advice. I've been thinking of making my own. I wanted to get away from the over the counter cubes as I'm having issues with nitrates and I thought this might help control it.

I currently have a yellow tang, convict tang, YWG, 2 black chromis, kaudern's cardinal, 2 ocellaris clowns, diamond goby, midas blenny, long fin fairy wrasse, ruby head fairy wrasse and a royal gamma. I feed (1) 3.5 oz cube per day and a piece of nori every other day for the tangs. do you think I should cut the cube in half?
