triggers growling?

[I like Triggers]

ive heard people say triggers grunt in aquariums... i have never heard this, and i have kept triggers for almost a year now... do they start doing it at a certain size?

I've heard some of them grunt when they feel threatend by outside sources ( unfamiliar person ) or when they are first checking out another trigger.

I've heard my Niger grunt, but it almost sounds more like a bull-frog croaking. And he always clacks his jaws which as well is very loud.

Also, triggers grunt when their teeth has grown too much.

i had a 10 or so inch crosshatch, he would make that "grunt" sound when he ate, it would scare off all the other fish that got in his way. Once they hit close to a foot, expect it. I had a emperor angel that loved to grunt, i would really consider that more of a grunt
