triggers w/ corals

no. triggers are hard to keep with corals. not that they might it them but they will knock them over or nip at them to wear down their teeth.
James.

I have my 4 triggers with hammer coral and torch coral and mushrooms. They don't touch it. Stony coral was bitten though...

what kind of triggers do you have, and in what size tank?
James.

My tank? 135, 80 lbs LR
8" niger
5-5.5" blue line
2.5" clown
2.5" lei

about 2 months with corals and shrooms...

I'm up-grading to 180 this summer. Right now I have an 80.
10" clown
6" queen
3" purple tang
3" semilarvatus butterfly
6" volatin
4" angularus angel
James.

I have a 4 inch niger and a 4 inch bursa in my 125 with a bunch of shrooms ,zoo's and polyps and theres no problem at all with them chewing on corals . I can see where you would have a problem with stony corals . what with the color to atract them and then them actually being hard enough to ware down the teeth. but the softer ones are not going to give them the feeling they are after when trying to wear down there teeth so they would leave them alone .

Taz you need to upgrade soon
I'm really having trouble beliving your stocking list hasn't blown up into a fight yet . seriously with a clown and a queen you should be thinking in the 300 gallon range . they are two very aggressive trigers and they will soon if not already start fighting over territory .

Mitzel, when I upgrade I will not have the queen. I have a friend that is going to take her. A 180 will be big enough for the rest of them.
