Multichip "lens"... then yeah
Single emitter "optic"... then no
The single emitter optics are not tightly focused. The angle rating relates to the percentage of light that falls within that general cone, but the actual light spread is much wider. You will have to look at the optic datasheets to find out what that the actual definition is, though I am sure there are folks here who know.
For actual LENS type optics being sold for the multichip emitter panels, they are more or less a true focused lens that creates a cone of light close to the rated angle.
