Trim on 265g tank broken.

I got a good deal on a Marineland 265g tank several months ago. The bottom trim was broken, but after inspecting it the glass and silicone looked brand new. I figured $250 was too good of a deal to pass up on that tank regardless. The tank was very clean, and I was told it was used for FW for some time with the intent to eventually convert to SW. The size and cost of equipment and maintenance involved for a SW tank was a turn off, and they decided it was taking too much space. They even wanted to fill it before I took it to make sure the trim was not an issue, since it was not an issue for them. I decided not to since it would take pretty long.

I am starting to brainstorm how to start the build. Also, my wife decided to surprise me and bought a Reef Octopus 12" Regal 300SSS (i know, she's a keeper), no pressure now... I was wondering if I could get your opinion on the trim. I have been researching on my own, and I have gathered so far that a tank that big is very hard to find a replacement trim. I have been debating using 2 part epoxy to fix it, luckily it is cracked but not missing pieces. This is a huge tank. It would be devastating to have it crack, and I don't even want to imagine that with livestock in it.

Any ideas or suggestions would be highly appreciated.
