trio or multiple royal grammas

Can someone have 5+ royal grammas in a tank? Or is it typically just work when there's a trio?

If you have a large enough tank with plenty of caves for territories and add them all at the same time, it should work ok. It might help to stagger the sizes too, so, they are not all the same size.

I don't think either 3 or 5 is a magic number. Depends on tank size and aquascape structure.

I have 3 RG in a 450g DT...3 diff. sizes, all added at same time....the 2 larger 'paired' up at 1 end of 8' tank, and smallest 1, is a loaner in the center of the tank. There is NO fighting or problems. You can see the loaner at about .50 minute in video, and the pair starting at min 1.58
