Trip to Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

My wife and I took my son and his friend to the zoo on Monday so I thought id share some photos.

Ahhh I love the Columbus zoo I remember going and standing in the line when the first opened the aquarium. I been to a lot of other zoo's aquariums and the Columbus one is not huge but it is better then most. Thanks for the pics I got to get out there soon it's been a few years.

For size reference. This is only 1/6 of the main aquarium. Its the size of a suburban 2 story house!

Sure wish I wouldve remembered to change settings on my camera...I had it on only 5.5mp. Dang it. Enjoy

Yeah, we may have been standing next to each other! I was very lucky, when I was 18 working at Byerlys two of my coworkers were interns. One was with the puffins and the other the aquarium so I was able to go behind the scenes anytime I wanted. I spent quite a few days there helping out, some of the best times of my life!

Oh I bet that was fun! I never done the behind the scenes at the Columbus zoo aquarium but I got to do it a the Newport aquarium and it was a blast.

Also, the Shedd and Monterey are on my bucket list!
