Was just doing some reading about the triton method. Hopefully I can make it to the meeting. This was interesting information.
"The Triton Method recommends 10-20% of your water volume dedicated to a fuge. A fuge is the main nutrient export, a throwback to decades ago when fuges were the norm and skimmers were just supplements to filtration, but still a tried and true method that has stood the test of time".
I'd think you'd want this for any similar method if possible. I began looking at custom triton sumps that were designed for this method.

So right you are the one thing trition says is refugium before the skimmer. What sumps have you been looking at? It appears most have the fuge chamber after the Skimmer compartment and its hard to tell what the gallon volume is for the fuge. Im hoping Joe from Unique Corals goes over that tomorrow.
