I never was insulted - I have thick skin so even if you wanted to insult me I can always just agree to disagree and keep on being friends. I do not think that this is the the best approach, though. The best posts give info in a way that you can think about how to apply it to your situation. Photos apply things to a different situation - those of the taker and not you. Photos with a paragraph of nuance are great, but too many just skip over the paragraph.

Just to add on, someone may be able to give great advice with or without a good tank, because they have experience and have done their research. I'm only saying this because I know some of the people who have helped me don't even have reef tanks, or their reef tank looks bad because they don't have time.
