Tropic Marine Pro and Algae outbreak

Guys I know this was discussed on another thread but I am about to switch salts and I am convince that every time I do a water change, I have an algae out break and after the water has been in the tank a good week or two the algae goes away. Have anyone noticed this. Next week I am ordering some of that HW salt people are discussing....

Same problem here...for what i pay for the TMpro i expect more...i am switching too...and i just ordered the HW a few days ago and will see how that does. I am also curious to try the Red Sea Pro. My backup salt is Reef Crystals.

I have no problems with TM... And here in the Netherlands, it's almost the same price as Reef Crystals

But I'm curious about other experiences.

I'll run some fresh mixed TMPRO through my colorimeter tomorrow and see what comes up.

what is hw salt, i'm looking into switching salts also and was looking at the seachem, red sea, tropic marin.

It is a German product of high quality, about which I was informed in here!

I have already delivered 3 packs of it and share it with another 2 co-reefers to test it! I am preparing some 10gal w/c for the next Monday and I'll see...

panosb, thanks for the link, but too bad i dont read german, from what i can get out of it, seems to be a additive not a salt mix or this there something i'm missing?
