For anyone looking for some, I just picked some up from Aquariums in Edmond. It was $26.

Paul.

Wow that's a great price. It cost me like $26.99 plus shipping online. I love hearing of stores in okc catching on to the new stuff! Thanks for the info. Paul!

Are you talking about Tropic Marin Pro salt? Or are you talking about Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure? They make both.

That's awesome. I had to buy mine online. It was admittedly a little cheaper online, but I would've paid extra to get it at my stores. In fact, I've tried to talk the owners into buying some.

Leigh Anne carries the salt too.. I switched to that salt and I think it's awesome! It's got all the good stuff right in the salt

TMP Coral Cure, is this a true cure? what does it actually cure? or is it a dip you do before you add new corals?

now if it could just be proven on the red bugs!!!
....we wouldnt need an intercepter prescription~!!!

Hey Charlie, How are you doing? I really want to get by to see your tank soon.:D

I recently purchased a montipora online, in the shipping bag I noticed it was infested with monti nudibranchs. So, I set up a small 5g tank. Put PCs over it and small hetaer filter to keep the coral in QT.

The TMPCC comes in 200mls. To make the dip, you add 1 ml to 200ml of tank water. I took a coke bottle, almost filled it with water from my frag tank (so 2,000ml) and added 10 drops of TMPCC, shook it up and poured into a ziplock (1g size bag). I placed the bag in my frag tank to keep it warm and added the coral. left it for 15 mins with slight swirling, making sure it didnt pierce the bag.

I cleaned the 5g tank completely, added SW from the frag tank (to keep the water temp etc the same). Pulled the bag out, lifted coral out and dropped it back in the 5g.

The bottom of the bag was full of dead shrimp, pods, little stars, and nudibranchs. From then till today, no further damage seen nor any nudibranchs seen. I will do another dip in a few days.

At 1ml per 200ml, the TMPCC goes a long way and will certainly help ensure you dont add nasties to your tank by not QT ing.

----as a side note, I dropped some rock in the bag after the monti was done to see if it did anything to asterinas. The two on the rock curled up and died inside 5 mins. I also tested a couple other corals for 15 mins. Frgas of acropora and encrusting monti did just fine.

my personal recommendation..........buy this stuff while you can. Its usually hard to come by. Im impressed with it.

Paul.
