I use pro reef and test each batch for parameters.
Generally comes up with around the following
Calcium 400ppm
Magnesium 1320
dkh 8
Never had a problem but I do dose as between water changes the values do obviously go down.
just switched to it from Forty Fathoms/Crystal Sea based on the specs in the article the Cap'n posted - pro-reef being higher in Ca++ and Mg. Looking forward to seeing the results.
Ive used it, and liked it. Id dissolves into the water incredibly fast and clear. Its more expensive, but if you get the bucket, its a 200g bucket instead of 16o or 175. So if you do the math its more expensive but not a terrible amount.
