Hello,
I am the proud owner of a brand new 6208 wavebox.
While trying to set it up last night I had a very frustrating experience. I had a very hard time getting the frequency right for creating the wave and finally decided to do it in manual mode instead of the automatic mode.
I did get the frequency right and can generate a nice wave, the problem is the pump turns off after about 4 cycles. So it will go ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF at the desired frequency but then stop for about 10 seconds. The lights on the controller keep alternating but obviously the wave action stops in the aquarium. The prop is not moving during this time. I am assuming that is why I could not figure out the frequency in auto mode.
Any suggestions? I am also a little frustrated with the manual as it refers to slightly different pieces of equipment, for example my power box does NOT have an external pin to vary the voltage.
Any input is welcome,
Pete
