I have never had good success with branching montis and not sure why. I have always had great success with monti caps, encrusting montis and acros.
My reef is 4 years old and most of my corals are at least 8 to 12 inches in diameter and very healthy except for my branching montis, i have had some bleach and eventually die, I have others that have very poor polyp entension and grow very slowly. I have never had one that has done well in my reef. is there a certain parameter that effects them more than others?Please let me know if anyone has any ideas.
