Figured I would give an update. When I got home after this last post the last of those polyps were gone. Then a day or so ago I noticed one of my other colonies (green and red polyps) started to decline in numbers.
I really wanted to blame the angel or foxface but just have not seen either anywhere near them. Well tonight as I was looking I see a bunch of large amphipods right in that area munching away. Ugh, not sure what to do, I already have a pair of spotted mandarins in the tank and am afraid to add another pod eating fish and then have my mandarins starve.
Am I just SOL about zoas with these pods in the tank now? Is it just certain species or can any pod turn coral muncher?
