I purchased a colony of African Blue Zoos/Palys last week. After looking perfect for about 5 days in the tank, they are having trouble. Some of the polyps are not opening anymore. A couple are still open like they were when I first put them in, but most (maybe 30 of the 40) are mostly closed. I was able to split off about 15 of the polyps when I first got the rock, and I have noticed the same thing with these guys. I have started moving them around in the tank yesterday thinking they were getting too much light or not enough. I put one higher in the tank and one towards the bottom. I have about 5000 gph moving in the tank, but none of the flow is directed right at the colonies. Any advice? Is it a lighting thing or something else? All my other colonies of zoos/palys are looking great. Also, my SPS's are doing well too.
