Trouble?

Hey all. I have a quick question for all of you zoa people, and I am hoping you might have an answer.

I recently got a GBTA. Its doing great. But, I just added a small zoa frag and now the anemone has moved and is within I'd say 2 inches of the zoa. Thats when the anemone is fully opened the edge of it is about 2 inches away. So my questions is: Is there a risk to my zoa?

Its a really pretty orange and darker purple/maroon color. Its been growing fairly quickly, I had my eyes on it at the LFS and in the 2 weeks I was watching it almost doubled in size. And I saw the colony they fragged so I am really hoping this will become the center piece to my aquarium. Hence my not wanting harm to come to it.

If it really does grow that fast it will reach the edge of the bta quickly. You may want to move the zoas. I'm not sure how strong the sting is from a bta bu I know many other nems sting zoas. If they look upset or aren't opening move them right away.

FWIW, I had a GBTA walk into the middle of a Zoa colony and stay there for months. Never bothered either one of them. I would just keep an eye on them.

They were all closed up so I did end up moving them..hopefully they will continue to grow where I've placed them now.

Thank you guys for the advice.
