true bb question

Tomarrow or the next day depending to this question is when I fill my new 55g rr and it is going to have SPS and I have a question. Would it be safe to go truely bb instead of starboard. Or if I have to put something down on the bottom is there something similar I can get at Home Depot or Lowes?

I dont have anything on the bottom either. Just make sure your rocks are very secure. There are other things that you can use. Just make sure its HDPE.
