Truly reef safe blenny?

Is/are there any truly reef safe blenny(ies) available, besides maybe a lawnmower blenny? I love bicolor blennies but i read that they are a threat to sps. I love their personalities so appearance isnt an issue. I have a mix reef (72 bow front), mosty sps/lps frags with two largish maxima clam. Thanks!

My Tailspot blenny (Ecsenius stigmatura) completely ignores my corals (all LPS for now) and sticks to picking at rocks or the overflow. I had a Bicolor that used to nip at my Duncan skeleton, so I agree they aren't really reef compatible.

I can tell you one that isn't. I have a black combtooth blenny right now I'm trying to catch. He has destroyed one large acro colony, damaged several others, killed one monti and damaged two others and in the last 24 hours has started on my war coral and my duncan.

So difficult to catch because he doesn't eat a lot of meaty foods (except my corals). Not given up but it's really discouraging.

I have a bicolor that took out a starfish in my tank....he's not fascinated with inverts but leaves most of my coral alone..one might go after your clam

I previously had a tailspot blenny & now have a barnacle blenny & no problems from either one of them with any of my LPS.

i have an orange spot blenny. he is a very interesting fish. I have never seen him eat any coral. he will however chase around new fish of similar body structure. he eats anything I put in the tank.

I have a couple of sailfin blennies (Pandyonsis emblemaria), neither strays more than a few inches from its shell except at feeding times.

i have a Lawnmower/Algae Blenny (Salarias fasciatus) that has been with me almost the entire life of my tank.

i've never noticed any damage to any of the corals (LPS, SPS, or softies) that i could attribute to him. he's usually just fine picking at the rocks, eating algae off the clip, laying around, or snagging whatever i feed.

i have noticed what look like his mouth marks on the mantel of my crocea clam from time to time, but if it is him, it doesn't appear to be causing any kind of actual damage or discomfort to the clam. the mantle is always well extended, shell growth is excellent, and the marks usually go away after a few days.

Thank you guys for all the suggestions! I have to look up some of these blennies, but i do remember reading that midas blennies are reef safe. Any other positive results like SDguy? Thanks!

I have a midas blenny in my sps mixed reef and it never touches coral. Great fish with alot of personality. He survived being pureed in my vortech pump too.

Tagging along- i have always wanted a starry blenny but have heard they nip on clams, has anyone experienced starry blenny(or any blenny) nipping clams?

I'm between a canary blenny (yellow fang blenny) and a Midas for my softie and LPS tank. Not sure which to go with....hmmm....
