All it is, is the granular gfo and smashed into smaller pieces increasing the surface area thus creating more binding capacity. Why pay 30 more for HC when you can mass you GFO up a lil more?:deadhorse:

They are two very different products. I can't fit enough regular gfo in my reactor for my 150 so I usually use the high capacity. If you do the math . media per gallon it's really not that much different. High capacity also takes up less space to store if that is an issue.
