TruVu 25 Set Up

Im in the process of moving my 24AP into a TruVu 25. Here some pics and info

This seems to be a great tank, built very well and solid. They shipped me this tank and the packaging was incredible they did a great job protecting it from shipping damage. The down side is the odd ball size of the tank 21x18x16 this means I couldn’t use my current AP Stand. So I made a custom top for an older stand I had and may use the top on my AP24 stand I will wait to see how it fits during the switch. The filtration area is 4 inches deep lots of room. They include a Rio 600, The bioballs will be removed. The size of this tank is great an one inch shorter and one inch wider and 1.5inch deeper than th AP24(tank Area), more room for rock and corals So far I’ve done a leak test filled it up for a day no leaks. I will continue to add pics as I get further im doing the switch sat hopefully.

That's a very cool tank ... I was looking at that exact one at the LFS the other day ... hella easy to turn the back section into a refugium for filtration ... anyway I hope you do great things with it!

The rumor is TruVu has some mods (add-ons) in the works including a refugium for these nanos.

I just cant find any dealers near me who sell truvu.

Well, I found a stand at a furniture store really good quality work.
This tank is an odd ball size and nothing is out there that will fit it except one the tank manufacture sells but I don’t like it. My tank is a half inch deeper than the stand but im using a piece of 3/4 under the tank. Now I just need to stain it. I may make a face to cover up the opening not sure yet. Hopfull I will have it ready this weekend to make the switch
