Trying to catch an emerald crab.

Recently something has been nipping at my crocea clams mantle. Not sure what it is though. I've got 2 emerald crabs and one is pretty big. I decided to move them to another tank but first I have to catch them.

My question...Will they eat raw shrimp if I bait a glass?

I also have a bunch of hermits that I'm also moving over to a different tank.
Anyone have experiences with a hermit munching on their clams?

Emerald crabsare optanistic feeders ans will eat what they can, have it be coral or a clam. I have seen and heard them eat many things, so this behavior isnt new.
Yes they will go for the shrimp as if they have never eaten before.

if they are anything like mine the best time to catch them or even see them is about 10-20 min after lights out
