Trying to decide on fish

I have two yellow tangs and two mandarins but would like to add some fish to the new tank. They must be reef safe. Problem is, there are lists a mile long then I have to look up the picture and hope they are correct. Would members be willing to post pictures of fish they feel are reef safe, with what they are called? Thanks

Plus one for live aquaria. When I go in to buy fish at stores i always review them on live aquaria first, because the people in the fish store will pretty much always tell you whatever it takes to get you to buy them. If I don't know what a fish is ill look it up first. I have a 70 with a pair of ruby dragonettes, lawnmower blenny, tomini tang, helfrichs firefish, one bengai, and a fathead sunburst anthias. I already feel like my tank is crowded with that list.

I've always wanted a school of zebra striped dart fish though.

For example clown goby greek reef safe yes---read further--may nip at polyps and sps corals.

How can they classify that as reef safe. Was hoping to hear from people with personal experiences.

Get some reef safe wrasses, they're really colorful. Ex: Filamented Flasher wrasse ,mccosker flasher wrasse.

I've heard a lot of bad things about them, mostly how they can become aggressive and kill off your other fish. Are there only specific wrasses that do that?

I have looked at the wrasses. While some are colorful, I really don't find them very alluring. It seems like every fish I pick out has a caption like "startling this fish may cause it to release a toxin that will kill it and your entire tank". I'm like yah.
Or better yet. "Fatal, call your mother and tell her goodbye".

Yeah....I seem to have an eye for the dangerous ones except for the tangs. I would like a purple tang but finding one reasonably priced has been, well, difficult is an understatement.

Everybody says they are not a wrasse person. Then they get a wrasse. Then they are in love with wrasses...
Get a mccoskers or a solorensis wrasse. Both are amazing..
Purple tangs are expensive. You're not going to be able to find one under 120-150$, and that's low. DD puts them up for 270, and I know ny aquatic had a them for 150

My LRS has them for $90. Or at least they did when they had them. They're out now. And honestly, since I'm not gonna have a lot of fish, I'd rather have something I really like the look of then something that's just, "nice". I'm not saying wrasses don't come in some spectacular patterns, some of which I would love to have, but it seems I always like the non reef safe ones or "aggressive" ones. And I really don't want to have to deal with a wrasse with a bad attitude.

It will be hard to add anything with two yellow tangs. They may not like anybody new added to "their" tank.
