Trying to find Seahorses in NJ!

Hi. I am trying to find a buddy for my Seahorse. I have one and I want to get a couple more seahorses for my tank. I am looking for Brazilian Seahorses in either Orange or Red but whatever I can find might work and some erectus Seahorses. Does anyone know where to find them in NJ? I found some and they were about $200 and I wanted to buy them a little cheaper since I wanted to get a few. Any websites that are good? I am a little afraid to order through mail since the Seahorses are sensitive but if it’s a good website than its ok.

www.seahorsesource.com has a great selections of SHs. Most are captive bred and you can actually talk to Dan. He has been breding them for quite sometime. He has reidi for about 60 bucks. www.Dracomarine.org you can talk to Jorge and he will help you out also. Both places are very good. Good luck!

You could even take a day and drive there and back with your horses. this way you wouldn't have to worry about overnight shipping.

Hi,
I live in NJ too and plan to take a ride to Dracomarine. I figure the 2.5 hour ride is better than shipping as I am getting 4 pair.

i was going to suggest dracomarine as well. Jorge was the first to breed horses on a large scale many years ago.....
