Trying to get connected

Hello!

I am a student starting at TCU in the fall and I am hoping to start a reef aquarium as well. I have a 14 gallon biocube I got from a friend and I am getting super excited about doing this. I have ideas, some research, but no real knowledge or experience. (fresh water but, not the same)

I don't know if you guys are a club that actually meets or not but I'm just looking for some help from someone who wants to pass this on. I want to find a good LFS, start right and do it a long time.

We meet monthly in grapevine which isn't too far from TCU, we even have a couple TCU guys who show up. We also have events scattered around, we had a big event in February at the botanical gardens just down the street from you.
