trying to hook up maxijet 1200 in aqua pod...help

the pipe that the tank came with that connects the pump to the outlet in the tank is too large for the maxi 1200. if i get a smaller tubing, then it will not fit the outlet in the tank.

what do i do???

I think the maxi-jet 1200 and the 900 have the same size output tube (can someone verify this ?). I'm in the process of getting an adapter for 3/8" (goes into the pump) and 1/2" (goes into the tube and out to the tank) for the 900 to replace the stock pump.

Try local hardware store, TruValue or Home Dopot.

Hose Clamp....
Just tighten one down on the bigger hose to the smaller fitting. You can get them in plastic or stainless.
