Picked up a Yellow Goby and a Potter's Angel from the LFS, both had been there for 3 weeks and I observed them and they were both eating well-on brine shrimp.
Formalin dip, both appear ok after 50min.
Running two airstones on two different pumps in 5 gallon buckets, testing for ammonia daily as well as PH. Tried some brine/mysis this morning, the goby pigged out and the Potter's showed no interest. The potter's swims around, hides when I enter the room, is not doing anything specifically strange.
Could this just be stress of the TTM with the Potters? Should I try a different food? Maybe throw a piece of live rock (to graze) from the main tank into the TTM after a tank change, there would be no meds or prime in the tank, but would like to re-use the LR-would this be safe?
Ph is good, 1.025, temp is 75-76, lights are off now, turned them on to feed. Water is a mix of DT water and newly made RO saltwater.
I know this is an issue with Potter's.
