TTM, one fish not eating after Formalin

Picked up a Yellow Goby and a Potter's Angel from the LFS, both had been there for 3 weeks and I observed them and they were both eating well-on brine shrimp.

Formalin dip, both appear ok after 50min.

Running two airstones on two different pumps in 5 gallon buckets, testing for ammonia daily as well as PH. Tried some brine/mysis this morning, the goby pigged out and the Potter's showed no interest. The potter's swims around, hides when I enter the room, is not doing anything specifically strange.

Could this just be stress of the TTM with the Potters? Should I try a different food? Maybe throw a piece of live rock (to graze) from the main tank into the TTM after a tank change, there would be no meds or prime in the tank, but would like to re-use the LR-would this be safe?

Ph is good, 1.025, temp is 75-76, lights are off now, turned them on to feed. Water is a mix of DT water and newly made RO saltwater.

I know this is an issue with Potter's.

Do not put live rock in the TTM buckets. If you do, that rock could become 'infected' by encrusting parasites and if you reintroduce that back into your system, you just defeated doing TTM. EVERYTHING in the tanks must be sterilized before next transfer. If you don't mind throwing away the rock after then sure.

I did not. Did the first transfer today into a 10 gallon tank. The potter's is moving around well, but hides when I enter the room.

Wiped down everything from the old bucket with vinegar and dried under a ceiling fan in another room.

Lots of movement today, Potter's hides when I come in the room. Going to try to feed again tomorrow morning and possibly in the afternoon before I do a TTM transfer.

Potters are difficult to feed sometimes. I would have dipped and placed in quarantine first. You can TTM later.

Yes, I am thinking of doing this if he does not eat today-

I am on day 5ish, going into the third transfer, and have a transfer planned today. I am going to try to feed before the transfer, if he eats something, then I will continue TTM. If he does not eat, then I will stop TTM and just QT till I hopefully get him taking something.

He is active and curious....swimming about while I am out of the room-I can see him-he does dart into the PVC when I walk into the room.

Only saving grace is I did see him eat at the fish store. That was Wed, so hopefully just some stress of sorts after the dip and initial TTM.

Tried some Hikari mysis and brine with some selcon, he did not attack it like when in the store, but ate a little bit out of the water column when he would leave the PVC pipe that he hides in...so that may get me some time.

Trying again tonight, then will do a TTM tank change.
