TTM - Smallest water volume recommended

hi all,

I'm preparing for my first TTM.

Cupramine has served me fine but I'm willing to give TTM a try. I"ve got my air stones, containers and heaters. Was thinking about using a small 4 gallon Tupperware rectangle.

Q1) what is the smallest water volume recommended? For example: will 2 gallons cause a deadly ammonia spike even in 72 hours?

Q2) At the same time I'll treat with: PazoPro/AIP General Cure or Chloroquine Phospate - which do you recommend?

thanks

The smallest I have done was 3 gallons in buckets and didn't have any issues with ammonia. The fish was a 1.5 Flame hawkfish. I feed twice a day.

I did one gal for a pair of yasha gobies, but normally I use a Rubbermaid tub that can hold about ten gallons and fill it between half and 3/4 full. The only issue with a small amount of water is to make sure you have a controller for your heater. I don't trust heaters ever, but with a small volume of water they can overheat it way too fast if not on a controller.
