Tubbs Blue ????

I have a nice mini colony of tubbs blues high up in my fish tank, about 8 inches away from my 4x39w T5. They are not that blue though. I have tiny frag slightly shaded and these ones are a much deeper blue but not as blue as I would like.

I was wondering where do you guys keep yours to get that nice deep blue color?

I always keep mine on the bottom. Lighting is 250w 20k halides...

In general- blues tend to be lower light loving zoas (at least where color is concerned)

I lowered them the day I posted this and they are starting to color up.

The only blue zoa i know that likes high light is the Caribbean blue zoas.
