Tube anemone question

Decided i will try to add some nps to a new tank i am doing. I decided i will do a sun coral, but was looking at the tube nems at diver's den. They said they need a six inch sand bed. For the tank i am doing i only planned at four at the most. Will this be ok? Does the sand fave to be vey fine? The tank is a standard glass 29 gallon that i am in the process of converting from freshwater to saltwater. It will have one 15 watt t8 lamp on top. Any input will be helpful.

4 in should be fine, but go with finer grade sand. Give them lOts of room they can extend pretty far and have a strong sting.

+1 to that. My buddy has about 3 inches of sand for his tank and has a huge one. And I likes to kill any thing in its reach

if they are not happy they will move around the tank.mine moved all the way around my 55 till i tucked it into a crevice in one of my base rocks and it's been there for three years.
