tube top

do you wnat to spend upwards of $350 a foot for tube that big? if so then carr mc master sells up to 18" tube.

It isn't a matter of wanting to spend. I think I paid ~28/foot for 6" tube. Are their any other options? How about PVC in that size?

check with some of your local contractors in your area and see if they have some short sections of pvc left over from a job. this would be the best way to find bigger tubes like that.

Yes I saw those. I thought the wall was rather thin. I wonder if I could get a universal seal to actually seal with walls that thin?

I'm now thinking about a rectangular mixing chamber rather than a tube. Sure would make plumbing it easier.

ORRRR.... get a sonet tube at Home Depot, of cardboard, and get acrylic sheet, and heat it up in long strip like patterns, slowly wrapping the tube, then put a laped seam in back. ORR a hex or octagonal pattern...

huh...

yep, all the hard works done, I'm going to bed. seemed perfectly clear at the time.
