Tubs Blue Zoanthids

I Just got a bad *** frag of Tubs Blue Zoanthids but I'm second guessing myself on the placement. I know that the need bright light and mod to low water flow> Got suggestion!

IME Tubbs prefer lower light... Only until they are acclimated to strong lighting would I put them higher. Took mine forever until they could handle direct 400W 20K xm's. After a short time they would fade real bad and kinda shrink up. Finally they snapped out of it though.

1++ if you want the nice blue, don't put them under really bright light.

I've had some right under 250w de's and they looked awesome. Maybe I did something different.

+1 on med to low light to keep the nice blue color. Even in T5's I keep them on the sides of the tank.

I thought the blue looked ok back when I had them under strong 10k xm's.

In fact, if you look at older posts about tubs, you will find that one of the notable things that used to get said often about them all the time is how they DO hold their blue under higher light.
