Tubs blues

Are these a higher light zoo? I got a frag last week that doesn't seem the like the bottom.

i thought blues in general dont like brighter light, as they will tend to fade. just curious, but how do you know they are tubs blues?

The tubs blues will tolerate higher light.I picked some up from a friend this week and they keep theres under t5s.Ive been keeping them under hallides for 3 days and no change.My other blues that are in my red house will fade to gray under my hallides in a few days.I have to keep these in the shade all the time.

I got them from Ming at Atlantis. They are definately tubs.

Maybe I should move them into a lower light area for several days?

gotcha yeah thats what i would do, i beleive ming runs radiums, so your lights would be a bit whiter, so they might need longer to acclimate

i have found that the more light they get the more sky blue they look.

IME the more light they get the faster they grow. I have a frag from Ming at the top of my tank with a 150W halide and one frag at the bottom.
