tunakit?

Hello,
I couldn't find any section/forum that dealt mainly with Identification so I hope this is the right place to ask. I'm trying to indentify a coral that my lfs is selling as "Tunakit". I dont have a picture but its a beautiful blue based coral that has stalks that run up like blue sponge, but round perferated symetirical heads that resemble a desert flower of some sort....the heads grow, detatch and float away, then regrow within 9-12 days.

All the research I have done on "Tunakit" online yields only one match when it comes to corals, and its a completely different looking specie.

Any ideas? Im sure its just the spelling...I went back the the fs and all were gone, including the tag with the spelling. The Manager was also not there

Try searching under "tunicate".

I agree with Conesus_Kid. I think the lfs person was hungry when he spelled that. Their spelling sounds like Chicken of the sea and mayo.
