TUnnze reefpack 500

Hey Roger,

Got another question for you. As i mentionned in a previoous post I am planning on ordering Reefpack 500, Calcium reactor and tunze stream TS24. Will it be enough material to handle a well loaded 180G (40*40*26) SPS tank in terms of circulation, calcium and skimming? Am not sure of final dimensions on the tank it might end up being smaller but definetly not bigger.

Another question, can i place rowaphos in the media basket in the comline filter which comes in the Reefpack?

Can the reefpack skimmer be upgraded with a bigger pump later on?

Last one i promise, is it better to get the streams or a wavebox. Since i will have a returm from the sump for additional current (1000 Gph).

The reefpack 500 is rated for 500l- about 130gallons. The mechanical filter will clog very rapidly in alarger tank and need at least weekly maintenance. The skimmer can be upgraded to a 9010 by buying the larger pump and cup but be aware this costs $200 Approx.

Rowaphos is too fine and will likely escape the basket or clog.

In those dimensions the wavebox is not a good choice, stick to the Streams and unless it will be SPS mostly you should get 2 6000 not 6100.
