Hi Roger, I would need to know some info the Tunze 1073.11 Silence Pro pump as a return, what would be the head loss at 8-9 feet aprox?
I have the older discontinued model 1073.09 and boy what a racket this thing makes, it is loud and not powerful at 8-9 feet, Im using it but it driving me crazy everytime I go into the filtration room i hear a good hum/vibration I heard that this was an issue with those units..
So for that reason I am thinking of picking up the 1073.11 it is more powerful roughly 600gph more, but before I take the plunge anyone else using this model as a main return? what are your thoughts in general, noise ,head pressure ext.
