tunze 240/3 Vs. 240/2

Hello,
I am looking to buy a second-hand TUNZE 240.
What is the difference between 240/2 and 240/3?
Are there two versions of 240/3?
When did the the 240/3 got out to the market?

I think that the cup design is better on the 240/3, the pump is also better as it is the same as the one you can find in the Turbelle Stream. The 240/3 is obsolete and is about to be replaced by a member of the DOC 9000 skimmer serie

Yes, I would only buy a 240/3 that is less than a year old as that is going to be a more modern one with a better cup design and will work very well.

No, the cup design was kind of changed mid year so older 240/3 will not have the new design, the new one is one piece, the old one has two pieces.

Does the new cup design has larger capacity and is the cup attached to the cylinder as one part?

Yes, I think the old one held 1.1L and the new one is 1.4L and the cylinder is part of the cup.
