Anyone have picture of their float switches and the min max line for it? Also the mini jumper inside the control box. Which setting is which for that? I went to the manual but it doesn't say either.

Thanks RC.

Downloaded the quick start which didnt have the info. I got the info. Anyone snap a shot of where the float is when it stops filling?

The float will fill until it is near the top of the post and start filling when it is near the bottom, trying to set an exact water level is not easy and will change a couple mm as the float breaks in, I would not really get overly concerned with that, but as a general rule about 2mm from the c clip is start and 2mm from the nut is off, this gap tightens a bit as the switch wears so the level fluctuates less. The jumper on 1 pin is 3 minutes (25-55 gallons), the factory setting on 2 pins is 1 min 48 seconds (5-25 gallons).

Ahh, so the float will not touch the bottom white piece before it starts to fill? You say about 2mm from the end of the snail cover?

Also, it will fill to about 2mm of white shaft showing?

Thank for the info.

Roughly, the way these float switches work is the black ring in the float is a magnet and it moves a reed switch in the post when it moves, when new the switch is stiffer and will get closer to the ends, with use it softens and the range tightens.

Thank you for all the help.

I was wondering something, been having a few brown outs. Do I need to do anything to reset the system when the power goes out? It goes off for about 20-30s.

Appreciate all the help.

If the power was out a couple minutes it would reset the safety timer, 20-30 seconds it probably won't because of held charge in the power supply. If everything is set correctly (safety timer is right for tank size) I don't think it will be an issue.
