Tunze 3155 Osmolator pump stopped working

Hi Roger. My pump stopped working yesterday. I went over to my parents house to take a look and yep i think it's a goner. I unplugged it for about 10mins and plugged it back in. The controller showed yellow but the pump did nothing. I hit the pump with my hand lightly and it spun for a split sec and then nothing else. I reversed the polarity and nothing. I don't know if the earthquake yesterday here had anything to do with it. But i desperately need another pump fast. I live 30mins from my parents house and they have no idea what they are doing with the tank so that's why i have everything on auto. I can send you the pump back tomorrow!

How old is the controller? These pumps last on average 2-3 years they are inexpensive (about $22) and readily available from most of our dealers or on Tunze.com. For warranty coverage it would need to be sent in and some proof of original purchase date would be required, the warranty is void if it was submerged in kalkwasser.

Hmm It's been about 2 years. I don't use kalk. I got it at Ultimate Aquariums but they have a new ownership now and don't have any in stock. Dang i have no idea where the original receipt is at. How do i order one from the tunze site?
